SIFM is the only peer network organization dedicated to the advancement of insurance financial management professionals – offering an effective and efficient means for industry professionals to remain up-to-date with a constantly changing industry.

A recent survey of our members shows that the SIFM Quarterly Conference is one of the best, most effective conferences in the Metro NY area.  Essentially, members found up-to-the-minute data, fresh perspectives and emerging issues affecting the sector.

SIFM members are invited to become members by peers, mentors or bosses.  They have found it to be a worthwhile organization as evidenced by the fact that about 45% have been members for 10+ years.

I have been actively involved with the SIFM for over 20 years and continue to learn about the industry from attending sessions, as well as from interacting with other members and the leadership body of the organization.  The SIFM is a cost effective way to earn 75% of the CPE credits needed on an annual basis.

I joined SIFM when I was a young professional looking to make contacts within the insurance industry. In recent years, I’ve become involved at the Board level and most recently as a member of the Women of SIFM group.

The SIFM has always provided outstanding technical learnings in the quarterly Conferences, but frankly; I most value the networking opportunities and the resulting long-term relationships that I’ve formed with industry leaders and peers.

I joined the SIFM when I transitioned into the insurance industry from public accounting. The SIFM immediately provided a bridge between my established network in public accounting and those in similar roles within the insurance industry. Beyond networking, the SIFM always provides relevant technical accounting and industry updates while delivering affordable CPE credits.
