Mr. Conover will discuss the NAIC Market Conduct Examination process and the criteria that regulators consider when deciding which insurers to consider for an examination.  He will review the Market Conduct Annual Statement and why it is important for insurers to allocate the time and resources to correctly completing this document.  His presentation will also cover current market conduct matters being evaluated by regulators and the NAIC.

Ideally suited for this presentation, Mr. Conover has performed market conduct exams, market conduct annual statement exams and Form A acquisition of control reviews for regulators in several states.  He is a career insurance regulatory professional with more than 37 years of broad-based experience.  He is currently the Managing Director of Conover Insurance Regulatory & Compliance Services.
