USAU is an MGA responsible for the quoting, binding and claims handling of risks on behalf of United States Aircraft Insurance Group (“USAIG”) who assume the financial responsibility of the risks USAU underwrites.

Mr Marin joined the Company in June 1994 and is currently responsible for the purchasing of USAIG’s reinsurance program. He also oversees the actuarial department that is responsible for the rating of business and establishment of USAIG’s IBNR reserves. He also works with the underwriting group to implement target rating across the various lines of business USAIG writes including airlines, general aviation, and manufacturers’ risks.

Mr. Marin is a member of the Aviation Insurance Association with a gold status designation. He is also a member of the International Union of Aerospace Insurers and is currently a member of the IUAI’s Airline Study Group.
