Mr. Demetz is CFO of the Americas region for SCOR, with oversight of the regional CFOs for US P&C, Canada, and Brazil.

Clem joined SCOR in 2013 as vice president of finance. He was named chief accounting officer in 2018 and Deputy CFO in 2020. In his roles, he oversaw the P&C finance organization and was responsible for the Americas region shared services, including investments, FP&A, deals & acquisitions, and taxes.

Prior to joining SCOR, Clem worked at Mazars as a senior Manager in Insurance services.

Mr. Demetz earned an engineering degree from CentraleSupelec. He also earned a master’s degree in control systems from the University of Wisconsin. He is a CPA licensed in New York; a member of the American Institute of CPAs and a member of the SIFM.
