SIFM Awards 2023 Scholarship to a Student from St John’s University

Caldwell NJ — John Yoon, president of the SIFM and chief accounting officer of QBE North America, presented the SIFM 2023 Scholarship to Kayla Liborio, a student at St. John’s University (New York). The award was presented at SIFM’s Quarterly Conference.

The SIFM Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship presented to a qualified student attending a top School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science who intends to seek a career in the insurance industry. 

Mr. Yoon congratulated Ms. Liborio for her dedication to her studies in the Risk Management and Insurance program at St. John’s University.  She will graduate with a BS in risk management and insurance with a GPA of 3.51.

Kayla is on the Dean’s List and Scholarship and has been awarded a scholarship from the Street Debate Society and the St. Vincent De Paul Scholarship.  She has demonstrated leadership both within and outside of the university including distribution of Grab-and-Go meals for the Stamford Public Education Foundation, and as a tutor and mentor for students on St John’s campus.
