Mr. Amen has 24 years of experience in reinsurance underwriting and risk analysis. He is responsible for managing the underwriting and key operational aspects of the US platform with a focus on building underwriting capabilities, strategic business development and portfolio execution.

For Global Casualty Reinsurance, Marc is responsible for setting strategy, global portfolio construction, consistency of underwriting decisions, engagement with global clients and distribution partners, and collaboration with platform business leaders to execute against the stated underwriting strategy.

Previously, Mr. Amen worked at Alterra Re, Harbor Point Re, Chubb and Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Amen holds a BA in history from Duke University and earned an MBA in finance from Columbia University.
