Will Ault

Mr. Ault has over 35 years of public accounting experience. His areas of practice include: automation of use tax determinations, nexus risk minimization, tax base minimization; savings, credit and refund reviews; voluntary disclosures, tax matrices; sales and use tax compliance and process improvement services; tax audit defense, tax protests and penalty waiver requests; managed audits, managed compliance, and sales tax reserve accounting.

Will leads Crowe’s federal and state excise tax consulting group. Over his 38-year career in public accounting, he has provided federal and state tax services to clients in the retail, telecommunications, financial services, retail, technology, and Web-based service industries.

Mr. Ault earned a BA in economics from Bates College, and he was awarded a JD from the Vermont Law School. Will is a member of the New York Bar and is a CPA licensed in New York, Connecticut, and Maine. He is also a member of the AICPA.
