Ms. Anderson has over 20 years of industry experience. In her current role, Cassandra supports the operations of the association and is responsible for its public affairs and public relations efforts. She serves as public information officer and plays a key role in NYIA’s advocacy, communications, and education programs. She is a lobbyist before the legislative and executive branches.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Anderson served as associate vice president of the association for five years and director of communications for five years. She also served as director of communications for the New York Alliance Against Insurance Fraud, an organization dedicated to public awareness on fraud, during her time at NYIA.

Ms. Anderson earned a BA in public relations and policy studies from Syracuse University.
