Mr. Herard has over 20 years of experience in emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, blockchain, and micro-services. He is also a senior vice president at Fidelity Labs, the Fintech innovation incubator for Fidelity Investments.

Vall has extensive experience in financial services and FinTech, holding positions at Fidelity Investments Inc, BNP Paribas SA, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, UBS Investment Bank, NumeriX, Renaissance Risk Management Labs, Barrie + Hibbert Limited, and Misys (Finastra Limited).

Vall holds an MS in quantitative finance from New York University and a certificate in data & AI from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned a BS in mathematical economics from Syracuse and Pace Universities.
