Matthew Foley has over 20 years of experience in securities valuation with a focus on equity, hybrid and rates derivative products.

Formerly, Matt was with EY in their valuation, modeling & economics group, within the complex securities solutions practice. Prior to that, he led valuation teams at CitiGroup, Morgan Stanley and UBS. Earlier in his career he spent four years on the floor of the American Stock Exchange working as an equity derivative specialist/market maker.

At EY, Matt worked with financial institutions to assist with the assessment of level 3 products and the valuation uncertainty driven by unobservable inputs. Additionally, he also spearheaded a team whose primary focus was to review and implement an independent price verification framework for mid-tier/regional banks.

Matt earned a BS in business and economics from Gettysburg College. He has also studied at the New York Institute of Finance Derivatives. He holds licenses in NASD Series 7, 63.
