Abdoulaye Traore has more than 10 years of experience in actuarial audit and advisory services both in France and in the US. His experience covers P&C, life as well as regulation related to actuarial reserving or capital management including local reserving GAAP rules, IFRS 17 or Solvency II.

Abdoulaye has managed and delivered IFRS 17 implementation projects from inception, with gap assessment and methodological set-up, to calculations design through tool delivery and resources training. He has provided direct assistance to key functions in the insurance framework such as chief actuary, chief risk officer, head of internal audit.

Formerly, Abdoulaye worked as an actuary in AXA France IARD (P&C) reinsurance and capital team.

Abdoulaye graduated from the University of Paris Jussieu (ISUP – La Sorbonne) with an MS in statistics and management of actuarial risks. He is a certified actuary from the French Institut des Actuaires.
