Julie has 20 years of experience in actuarial arena.   Prior to joining Toa Re America, Julie was head of actuarial analytics at Swiss Re where she led the team responsible for pricing the North American casualty portfolio. Julie was previously chief actuary at Berkley Re America. Julie spent the earlier part of her career in a variety of roles at consulting firms and other reinsurers.

Julie holds a BS in statistics and actuarial science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and holds the professional designations of ACAS and MAAA.

Julie is also the sitting Chairperson of the Casualty Actuaries in Reinsurance (CARe). Julie is an active member of ISO’s Excess and Reinsurance Panel and Verisk’s Actuarial panel.
