Mr. Ferrer has over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting.  Martin has extensive experience assisting clients with finance transformation, technical accounting, financial accounting & operations, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Martin was the controller for a multinational insurance company.   In this role, he was responsible for the controllership functions, technical accounting implementations, revenue contract review, stand-alone US GAAP financial statement preparation, purchase accounting, and developing high performance teams.

Mr. Ferrer was an audit senior manager responsible for performing and managing integrated audits and quarterly reviews of Fortune 500 companies and mid-size public companies in accordance with SEC, PCAOB, and US GAAP requirements. Martin has extensive experience with SEC documents such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8K, S-8, and annual reports. 

Mr. Ferrer earned a BS in accounting from the State University of New York College at Old Westbury. He is a CPA licensed in New York and is a member of the AICPA as well as the SIFM.
