Mr. Umarov has over 10 years of experience in IT and business advisory services. His expertise includes IT SOX framework implementation, IT audit and ITGC review as well as external SWIFT review and SOC1 reviews.

Formerly, Gaini was with Citizens Bank where he strategized and executed IT and non-IT audits from kick-off to final reporting including planning key audit stages, walkthroughs, reviewed results of design and effectiveness testing, managed audit expectations and possible outcomes, drafted and issued final reports. He was also with PwC working as part of a team of highly motivated problem solvers, that helped resolve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Mr. Umarov graduated with a BS in business administration and management from the University of Essex, United Kingdom. He has earned the following certifications: Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP) and IT information Library (ITILvF), He is a member of the AICPA, Institute of Internal Auditors, Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
