Mr. Grayzel has over 15 years of experience in the insurance sector. He currently oversees a portfolio that spans all sectors of the insurance industry. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he spent 12 years in various M&A, strategy and consulting roles in the financial services sector – commercial insurance, banking & capital markets, and alternative Investments.

Most recently, Dan was vice president of corporate development & programs at the Ascot Group, a global specialty P&C (re)insurance platform, where he led the organic and inorganic launches of a number of companies, with multiple strategies, products, and structures.

Prior to that, Dan was at AIG where he held a variety of roles in global strategy, M&A and innovation, insurtech during a five-year tenure.

Mr. Grayzel earned a BS in accounting and finance from Lehigh University.
