Who should attend?
Accounting, tax and finance professionals in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. All attendees are expected to be working in those sectors and have the relevant background.
Learning Objectives: Conference attendees will be able to:
- Understand the risks and opportunities from state income, franchise, premium retaliatory sales and use taxes
- Identify the transformative forces at play for organizational dynamics undergoing financial evolution
- Evaluate the tax advantages and disadvantages of qualified opportunity funds, donor-advised funds, and private non-operating foundations
- Determine the undercurrents of implementing reinsurance modernization programs
- Recognize new trends in the financial services sector
Prerequisites: Attendees should have a minimum of 5 – 10 years of insurance industry experience in finance and accounting, tax, risk and capital management, compliance, reporting or financial technology
